Ain't that the truth
Today was my first day at the intership. I realize that I have yet to say anything substantial about this new postion, but that is not for lack of effort. I wrote a whole witty, involved post about the internship the other day. But then my computer crashed. So you got nothing, I got a headache, and the computer got threatened to be replaced with a Mac. And now I am all out of wit, so indulge me as I lay before you a bulleted list.

INTERSHIP: A BULLETED LIST IN ONE ACT
- Working as the Publishing Intern for Canadian publishing house that puts out many fantastic books, including a series about a boy wizard, which is supposedly quite popular.
- Officially part-time until the end of December, with the possibility of a full-time extension.
- As far as I can tell from the first day, involves a whole heck of a lot of reading, summarizing, critiquing, and editing potentially publishable material.
- Focuses on works of Adult Non-Fiction and, my personal favourite, Children's Lit.
- Could be the start of a wonderful friendship. Or, an enjoyable career.
- Is clear across town and involved an hour and a half commute this evening.
- Has a Coke machine in the lunchroom.
